The EC70 - CNT Mountain Bike Seat Post is a lightweight CNT composite carbon seat post which has been designed for high performance mountain biking and offers a light aluminium head clamp which offers both comfort and durability.

TaperWall Technology
The TaperWall technology infuses tubing with unique performance characteristics revered by cycling enthusiasts and world class athletes. The computer modulated draw benches allow Easton to create multiple tapers in the same tube so the tube walls can be reinforced anywhere along their length with incredible precision which results in a jeweller smooth walls that eliminate the stress points of typical tubing. The strength, weight, fatigue life and responsiveness are all enhanced. The main advantage of this system is that the tubes are exceptionally strong while offering a responsive ride quality and improved shock absorption.

Relief Area Design(RAD)
The Relief Area Design(RAD) is a flat spot which runs along the length of Easton steer tubes and seat posts corresponding with the clamp zone of steams and seatpost clamps. Removing material in these critical zones prevent clamping forces from pinching and damaging carbon tubing. The advantage is increased durability with no weight penalty.
