The Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork is the definitive downhill racing fork which features a wide range of technologies and engineering feats to create the perfect tool for you to nail every piece of the track you can find.

The main feature of the Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork is the all new FIT RC2 damper which has been made lighter and is inverted which creates a lower unsprung weight which means that the 40 is quicker to react to improve the 40's already legendary terrain following and front end confidence.

The RC2 FIT damper also provides increased reliability over traditional dampers and creates consistent fade free damping with the same fine tuning features which allows the rider to tune the fork for every course.

For 2011 the Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork also sees an improvement in bottom out control which produces a virtually bottomless feel to enhance rider confidence.

The Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork sees a new knob layout design which fetaures the high and low speed compression controls at the top of the fork leg for easier fine tuning while the rebound control is now on the bottom of the fork with a new design which provides greater clearance.

Like every high performance fork the Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork features the new Kashima coating which not only makes the forks look sick but also reduces friction throughout the ultra stiff chassis which further improves its legendary performance and reliability.

The new Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork has been rigorously tested by the Animal Commercial team for the 2010 training and has been approved by epic downhill racers Dan and Gee Atherton.

The Fox Shox 40 RC2 FIT 20mm Disc Fork features a thick and durable 20mm thru axle which stiffens up the front end to help improve rider confidence even further.
