The Specialized Carve Comp 29 2012 29er Mountain Bike has been designed for cruising fast-rolling singletrack, with a fully butted, smooth-welded M4SL alloy frame to offer stiffness, efficiency with weight at a minimum, while an integrated, tapered head tube offers front-end stiffness.
The Specialized Carve Comp 29 2012 29er Mountain Bike also features an 80mm travel RockShox XC32 29" fork with lockout, size-specific spring rates and external rebound/preload adjust for simple, fast, fine-tuning plus a tapered alloy steerer for precision handling and low weight. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes using a 180mm front rotor increases leverage on 29" wheels, while the 160mm rear rotor ensures weight stays minimal.
