The Dawg Primo can handle everything from descending nasty, loose shale to the effort of a sixty minute singletrack climb. Our Back Country series is a cross breed of sorts, combining the thoroughbred agility of our cross-country race bikes with the increased travel and durability of a Freeride bike. The Dawg Primo comes in only one solitary notch behind the oooohhh lala Dawg Supreme, Kona's new Dawg Primo can carry it’s own weight when it comes to a high end Back Country bike. There are days when large climbs up mountain passes are quickly followed by steep, nasty, loose descents. The trick is to be stoked with both.
