The government are hoping to encourage workers to commute to work using a bike rather than less environmentally friendly methods such as a car, bus and train etc.

In order to join this scheme you simply must agree to let go of a small amount of your monthly wage. Cycle Scheme Steps?

Below is the list of the steps you need to take to join the cycling scheme:

• Your employer registers with Cyclescheme
• Contact Rutland Cycling or Grafham Cycling and choose your bike and safety equipment – you will be given a written quotation
• Request your Secure Voucher and digitally sign your Hire Agreement online
• HR/Payroll will review your application and digitally countersign your Hire Agreement
• After receipt of payment from your Employer by Cyclescheme, you will receive a Secure Voucher
• You take the Secure Voucher and photographic ID to the bike shop to collect the bike package
• Your salary sacrifice will commence
