Dear Rutland Cycling, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved from my recent purchase. The service has been absolutely outstanding. I ordered a Giant TCR Advanced many weeks ago and I received a call to say it was on back order. I thought that would be it until w/c 9th April when it was due in, but no I received two further calls keeping me up to date. Although the date hadn't changed it was reassuring to know that it was still in progress. I received my final call on Good Friday saying that my bike was in stock and when would I want it delivered. The bike arrived on Thursday well packaged. This has been a fantastic service from placing my order to receiving it last week. Hi There I would just like to pass on my views on my recent experience at Giant - Rutland. Superb !!!! After talking to Philip on the phone I felt happy enough to travel down from Doncaster in order to try for sizing. Philip was extremely well informed and confidence inspiring giving explanations as to size and reasons to his advice, we discussed some possibilities and I went a way to consider. I decided to go ahead and purchase the Anthem X 29er 1 as discussed with extras and work done. The bike was ready for me on the arranged day only a pity it was Philips day off. I had a problem with the tyres on my return home but again to his word Philip sorted this out as he promised. So to conclude I am very pleased with the service and staff dealings especially Philip, oh and the bike simply FLIES!!!!!!!!! In the task of retail we rarely receive praise so could you please make sure Philip is made aware of his excellent service and attitude. Regards
Hi, I would just like to thank all at Rutland Cycling for the excellent, professional and speedy service when I ordered my new De Rosa R838 bike recently. The delivery was as promised (despite my living in the "wild" Highlands of Scotland) on time, undamaged and, apart from having to put the handlebars on, was PDI'd and "good to go" straight out of the box. It's always a bit nerve-wracking ordering unseen from a supplier you haven't dealt with before but I would have no hesitation in ordering from you guys again and will recommend you to anyone I know looking to buy online. Hi Drew My new bike is everything I hoped it would be. I have shortened the stem to 70mm (Thomson) and had to replace the chain. It snapped third ride (these thingts happen). I have enclosed a photo of our first proper ride out (Bamford heading towards Ladybower)as you said you wanted one for "the wall". I have not yet booked my first service but then the bike hasn't been used that often. I will do it when I have the chance/time. Hi I just wanted to thank you for the quick delivery of my Saris Solo bike carrier. I am new to cycling at 58yrs old and was finding it a bit of a faff having to load and unload my bike into my car every time plus having to take the wheel off. "I was pleased with your regular communication regarding delivery of my item Advising that it was out of stock and when you estimated arrival. Another mail confirmed it was in and being despatch and duly arrived the next day! It was well packed, better quality than expected and substantially made. My grateful thanks for your swift response to the problem. I would like it to be known by everyone at Rutland Cycling Ltd that your service is nothing less than excellent, it can sometimes lead to grief by purchasing via the internet. In this case it was just the opposite. A rapid response to the initial order, followed by prompt dispatch. When I opened the carton and found the damage and reported it to you I was given a very a friendly and very helpful response. You arranged for a next day pick-up and less than 24hrs later I have the reply. A huge THANK-YOU! to everyone involved.
Hi, Rutland Cycles....many thanks for some excellent customer service! My original purchase (2 x black diamond harnesses), subsequent return to change size and reissue were all handled with courtesy, professionalism and speed - basic customer service skills that are setting you apart from other, more widely known on-line brands (I was particularly impressed with the timely order progress updates).
