Entering our third year, we are a buzzing Forestry Commission Trail Centre with something for both the family and the hardened singletrack rider. In store – the best brands for bikes, clothing, parts and accessories. Outside – explore acres of beautiful ancient woodlands. We are always developing new trails with the Forestry Commission, so if you come down to the woods today you’re in for a super ride!
Beginners: Family Cycle route – 8km green woodland trail suitable for all
Intermediate: Go further on bike-only blue graded skills sections
Intermediate-Advanced: Renowned Wakerley Red Route – 6km of singletrack thrills. Please call ahead to check track conditions
NEW! Rutland Outdoor shop at Fineshade Wood
Our brand new Outdoor shop is now open at Top Lodge, Fineshade Wood! Open every day from 9am to 6pm (6.30pm at weekends), we have an excellent selection of high-quality outdoor clothing, footwear and equipment, from premium brands including Jack Wolfskin, Meindl, North Face, Petzl and more.
