HR/Finance Assistant (25 hours per week)
Having been voted Bike Biz ‘Best Independent Retailer’ in 2011, 2012 and 2014 our goal is to become Britain’s best cycling destination, inspiring more people to own and ride a bike. To help us achieve this goal we are now recruiting to the position of HR/Finance Assistant to play an important support role to our stores and head office functions.
Undertaking a range of administrative duties in our small HR and Finance teams, you will be a first point of contact for both internal and external customers. On the one hand offering routine advice to staff and managers on HR processes and procedures, whilst on the other you will be inputting invoices on to Sage 50 and excel spreadsheets, as well as ad hoc finance duties.
Being a friendly and reliable team focused person, with a strong attention to detail, you will need to demonstrate a flexible adaptable outlook to offer assistance across both teams and a real commitment to quality and service. With a sound administrative background, involving the use of computerised systems (ideally including payroll) you will be use to multi-tasking on a daily basis and have an appreciation of the challenges facing a similarly sized company.

Ideally Cytech qualified (if not, we will provide the necessary training), your technical knowledge will be matched by your ability to be a flexible team player who is able to deliver a first class technical service to our customers through high standards and the efficient turnaround of maintenance and repairs work. You will also be called upon to sell parts and accessories at the workshop counter utilising your sales skills.
