If you break an arm or a leg it will heal, but if you damage your head you may never be the same again. At Rutland Cycling we’re all experienced riders and we’re in no doubt – wear a bike helmet!

Try on a few to make sure you get the best fit for your head shape and size, and use the straps and retention system to get it snug and safe. Once you know how to fit your bike helmet properly, you’ve learned a skill that could save your life.
Fit, and never forget
Cycle helmets vary from lightweight standard types to full face and dirt lids for BMXers, and they come in a wide range of prices too, so you’re sure to be able to find one that’s right for you, your partner and your kids. Whichever one you choose, be sure to check it for size and fit – too small and it will be uncomfortable, too loose and it won’t be effective if you come off. Our in-store experts will make sure you get a Goldilocks fit – just right.
