Inner Tubes - It wasn’t so long ago that bicycle tyres were made from solid rubber – no punctures to worry about but maybe a sore backside after a few miles! Thanks to a Mr Dunlop the rubber inner tube was invented to allow a more comfortable ride. Modern day inner tubes have moved on to the point where you can now buy self repairing tubes.
