20 smooth Shimano gears, powered by Deore components will run smoothly and efficiently. Shimano M395 hydraulic disc brakes will stop you quicker, and allow you to ride faster than your friends. This may sound contradictory, however having powerful brakes means you will be able to stop more quickly. The ability to stop more quickly, will mean that you can approach corners faster and brake later. Improved braking will allow you to ride faster and more confidently.
The large 27.5" wheel size is also more efficient over distance than 26" and will allow to to ride further and faster with greater ease. Finally the larger wheels also roll more easily over bumpy terrain and rocks and roots. The 27.5" wheel size does however retain some of the nimble responsiveness of the smaller 26" wheels so you can navigate tight trails with ease.
