The Details
The body of the Cateye AMPP 800 is constructed from a light and sturdy 6063 aluminium with a scratch-resistant finish to protect the sleek look. The light attaches easily to bars up to 35mm as well as some aero bars via the FlexTight bracket for truly secure attachment.
The lens features Opticube lens technology which provides supreme light distribution, helping you see even further with 800 lumens behind it. The light memory mode ensures that you're light turns on in the same mode that you turned off, saving the faff of cycling through modes. The power button illuminates to give you a constant idea of battery level, too, so you won't get caught out in the dark.
Meanwhile, the AMPP 800 can put out 800 Lumens and features OptiCube lens technology for excellent visibility. It has also been designed with a tough, scratch-resistant ADC12 lens to improve durability and you can choose from 5 different modes when using the light.
In order to optimise stability, Cube has also added a baseplate that reduces vibrations for a steady beam.
