Looking for comfort, quality and a boost up the hills? There's no point looking any further. The Agattu range ticks all of these boxes.
The features which makes this bike comfortable goes on forever. First of all, at the front of the bike the suspension fork soaks up all of the punishment that the UK roads can throw your way. If any shocks do make their way up the front of the bike, the curved back handlebar with ergonomic grips offer a second line of defence aswell as having the additional benefit of taking any weight off your wrists and putting you in an upright riding position.
An upright riding position puts a bit more weight on the back-end of the bike, but worry not. Kalkhoff had thought of that and paired this bike with the comfiest of padded saddles from Selle Royal and their own branded suspension seatpost.
The Shimano motor system is the newest premium ebike component - offers 50nm of torque whilst also being near-silent and lightweight. 50nm combined with the wide range of gears in the Shimano Nexus hub gear mean that you'll be hard pushed to find a hill that this bike would struggle to get up.
The 630wh battery is the largest available in this style of battery. For more information on this new technology, click
here. Both the motor and hub gear are sealed units and require very little in the way of ongoing maintenance. Schwalbe provide the tyres which are eBike specific and offer a degree of puncture protection and the chainguard should keep the majority of mud and grit away from the drivetrain leading to many trouble-free miles.
The bike is fully equipped with mudguards, lights, pannier rack and rear wheel lock as well as the previously mentioned chainguard meaning that it's ready for the all-day rides as soon as you sit on it with no need on spending £100s on opitional extras.
