The Specialized Epic Evo Pro boasts unmatched pedalling efficiency, nimble handling and a lightweight chassis with 20mm more front suspension travel than the regular Epic. The Evo still maintains the fantastic ride quality and efficiency of the regular Epic but the Evo's suspension works in tandem with the Rx XC Tune suspension to offer increased anti-squat characteristics. The Epic Evo Pro features a 120mm Fox Float 34 Factory fork up front with a Fox Float DPS Factory shock in the rear. As such, the Epic Evo Pro makes incredibly light work of tough singletrack and gnarly descents, without taking anything away from your pedalling efficiency. The new Epic Evo combines the progressive XC race geometry with versatility and adaptability. With a flip-chip equipped rear end enabling you to adjust the headtube angle and bottom bracket height, meaning you can fine-tune the handling characteristics of the Epic so it's just right for your preferred riding style. The Epic Evo is fast, really fast. But it's incredibly well controlled too. The Fox Factory Transfer Kashima dropper post lets you get your weight over the back end on the dicey descents. 4 piston Shimano XTR hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth and controllable stopping power and perfect modulation that keeps the speed of your machine in check. Shimano XTR is the choice of groupset for the Epic Evo Pro and hand-built Roval Control Carbon wheels complete the build. These Roval wheels have a modern 29mm internal rim width with a hookless rim and feature DT Swiss 350 hubs. We know that this is the most advanced, most capable XC race bike out there. But we also know that it will surprise you with just how capable it really is when you hit your first stretch of singletrack.
