The Specialized Demo Race is planted and has confident handling characteristics, pairing a traction-loving 29in front wheel with a snappy 27.5in rear wheel to provide a super fast and capable DH MTB. The Demo Race has an M5 aluminium frame with an adjustable rear end that ensure chainstay length and bottom-bracket heigh are ideal, no matter the hoop size, since the Demo is also compatible with a 29in rear-wheel if needed. The Ohlins DH38 M.1 fork with 200mm of travel features on the Demo Race and is bound to ensure a smooth, fast and confidence-inspiring ride.

At the rear end, the Demo Race has the Ohlins TTX 22 M coil shock, which is more than capable of handling even the most challenging terrain like World Cup courses. The Ohlins shock offers external low-speed compression and rebound adjustment. Magura MT7 4-piston hydraulic brakes provide reliable stopping power with high modulation. Shifting is taken care of by the SRAM X01 DH 7-speed groupset and the Demo Race also features Roval alloy rims which are tubeless-ready. The flip chips make the new Specialized Demo compatible with both 29in and 27.5in wheels, and its updated suspension kinematics were engineered using rider feedback from 2019 downhill World Champion Loic Bruni and young-gun shredder Finn Iles.
