Billed as the 'Ultimate Trail Bike', Specialized's Stumpjumper Comp features a perfectly designed carbon chassis that carries high quality, but no fuss specification. The Stumpjumper has unrivalled suspension kinematic, sublime handling and well-balanced frame stiffness. Fully affordable, full-carbon and full of fun. The suspension kinematics allow for sublime handling. Add to that the lightest possible weight frame which still incorporates all the durability you need for constant shifts uphill before the inevitable challenge of a hefty descent. The redesign of the Stumpjumper was a big project for Specialized. They wanted to ensure that the Stumpjumper was at home on any trail and was suitable for any rider as well. For the latest Stumpjumper, there has been an emphasis on weight reduction. However, this does not mean that durability or stiffness has been sacrificed. The Stumpjumper is a responsive chassis, with progressive geometry and excellent suspension kinematics. Stumpjumper has an S-sizing geometry, meaning it is long, low and slack with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. This geometry makes the ride stable and makes climbing that bit more comfortable (but no easier unfortunately!). FlipChip adjustability allows you to dial the fit, enabling you to adjust the headtube angle and bottom bracket height, meaning you can fine-tune the handling characteristics so it's just right for your preferred riding style. The Stumpjumper is sure to give you the same great handling and performance, no matter what frame size you ride due to Specialized's rider-fist engineered approach.
