A quality bike at an affordable price, the Via Nirone 7 is the ideal entry into the stylish world of Bianchi Bikes.
Purporting to be Bianchi’s ‘entry-level’ bike, its spec would make you think that it was more. That being said, with its namesake being the address of Eduardo Bianchi’s first workshop, you’d expect a quality bike. An endurance bike formed of hydro-formed 6061 alloy, an endurance-orientated geometry puts the rider in a comfortable position for those longer days in the saddle. However, the bike is still extremely responsive if you wanted to put it through its paces at speed.
The Nirone also boasts the K-Vid tech found in many of Bianchi’s machines. These Kevlar inserts are woven into the carbon fork legs, effectively absorbing road vibrations. Strategically placed, the stiffness of the forks are unaffected meaning less muscle fatigue without sacrificing the handling.
Shimano’s 105 groupset has long been considered the ‘everyman’ groupset in the cycling world, offering a balanced, reliable performance. Nowadays, there is little difference between this and Shimano’s other flagship sets; Dura Ace and Ultegra. 11-speed, reliable and responsive, the 105 is a great value for money groupset.
High spec without a high price, the Via Nirone really is a great entry level machine.
