From Grand Tour stages to local fondos the Tarmac SL6 Sport is designed with speed and agile handling in mind. Using the SL6 frameset, the Tarmac Sport is designed to be fast everywhere. Specialized have packed this model with some serious aero tech, making it 30 seconds faster over 40km than the previous SL5 frame, as well as 20% lighter. This has been achieved by adding aero features with zero cost to weight, with an updated fork shape, dropped seat stays and aerodynamic tube shapes. This Sport model comes with Shimano's renowned 105 groupset to provide crips and precise shifting. Pair this with hydraulic disc brakes, durable DT R470 Disc wheels, and the fan-favourite Power saddle and it is clear Specialized are onto a winner. The Tarmac series is known for its precise and direct handling. This is achieved by combining a responsive front end with a short wheelbase for almost telepathic handling and optimal power transfer.
