Oakley have used the latest technologies in eye tracking to find the angles of vision that cyclists depend on most. This critical information has led to a greatly expanded field of view for the Jawbreaker, 44% larger than standard dual-lens sunglasses.
The sunglasses have been designed with full-frame protection that extends around the entire lens perimeter, resulting in better shielding for your eyes from impact resistance, without compromising the field of view or ventilation.
A specially designed ventilation system also optimises the airflow around the Jawbreakers. Even when pushing through stagnant air, a subtle flow keeps you cool and prevents build-up from fog. The vents have been specifically placed away from your eyes to prevent distraction.
The Oakley Jawbreakers utilise the most advanced version of Oakley Switchlock™ Technology, a hassle-free interchangeable lens system. It lets you change lenses in seconds to adapt your vision to the environment and keep up with changing light.
The sunglasses also have an adjustable stem designed to give the best possible fit. This was achieved by analysing everything from MTB and road helmets to variances in cranial anatomy. The stems adjust to three different lengths and maintain a comfortably secure grip that doesn't interfere with your helmet.
