The Details
Specialized's new full face helmet the Dissident. It has a new Foam lay up which is lower density meaning it absorbs the force of impacts much better. Another feature is the 3-layer construction consisting of EPS, PC then Carbon to finish.
Equipped with MIPS C-solution it reduces head bobble and creakiness within the helment itself, that couples with a close fit means the helment wont moved about even on the gnarliest of descents.
This helment has a newly designed hood scoop for extra ventilation whne desceding fast. With more testing on this helment Specialized have found the most efficient location for other vents to provide maximum cooling at any speed. There re 5 specific pieces of EPS that are tuned to provide the best protectio and performance in each location.
