Specialized's Tactic 4 MTB helmet fits the bill for trail and enduro riding and has also passed the higher impact-speed e-bike test standard, so the choice for all-round confidence.
The SBC Integrated Fit System (adjustable occipital base) basically means that it fits more heads. The brow placement can be adjusted for personal preference, and adjusts better for a great fit with large-frame glasses and goggles.
The visor position is fixed. Specialized integrated this design after research with a large pool of riders. It measns a more integrated and cleaner designed top which optimises glasses placement, sun protection, protection from branches and no risk of a loose visor.
The e-bike certification (NTA-8776) means that riders can hit the trails with confidence.
Safety-wise the Tactic 4 naturally comes with the MIPS system. The low-friction layer allows a sliding motion of 10 to 15mm in all directions. Studies indicate that this reduces some of the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during angled impacts.
