JW: I seem to be getting more than my fair share of broken spokes on my rear wheel. Can you explain what is causing this? Weighing 13.5 stone, I don't think this is a weight issue.

Bike Doc: Has it always been the same wheel JW?

JW: Yes, it's always the same wheel. I broke one during a sportive & then again on the turbo trainer. They appear to be worn.

Bike Doc: Broken spokes are usually caused by seized nipples or fatigued spokes. It's tough to diagnose without examining the wheel but I would suggest this is maybe the cause of the punctures.

JW: Thank you Bike Doc, I'll take a look!
