Rutland based adventurer Sarah Outen will be talking about her experiences rowing the Pacific Ocean at an event held at Rutlands' Oakham School. The Pacific leg of her London 2 London Via the World expedition saw Sarah row the Aleutian Island chain, ending on Adak Island, and spending 150 days at sea. Sarah returns to Adak this year to continue the journey onwards to mainland Alaska where she will cross Canada and North America before the solo row home.

People with Sarah's zeal and passion are a rare thing and the opportunity to hear them talk publically about their experiences are rarer still, making this a special opportunity. Sarah has promised to sit still long enough to talk on the 23rd of January at the Queen Elizabeth theatre, Oakham School. Tickets are priced at £10 and £8 concessions. Book via hello@sarahouten.com
