We offer free, tracked UK delivery on orders over £10, with delivery starting from £1.99 for orders below this value. We also have a selection of premium shipping options available including timed slots, Saturday delivery and DPD Pick-up

All of our bicycles are fully built by our experienced and certified mechanics prior to delivery; all you will need to do is turn the handlebars and fit some pedals.

Bicycles are shipped from a different warehouse to other items and so may arrive in advance of any other items you have ordered.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience at Rutland Cycling, so we offer a 90-day exchange or refund on any unused item (within the UK).

We've chosen to offer products at the very lowest prices, rather than provide a free returns service. If you do need to return an item, we provide printable postage labels and collection services at a small cost for all items - including bicycles.

30 Day Test Ride

All the convenience of buying online, without the risk
When you buy a new bike at full RRP from, you can now benefit from the added reassurance of our Rutland 30-day test ride. Once your new bike arrives, you can ride it as your own for 30 days, and we're confident you'll love it! However, if it's not right for you, we'll exchange it for another model. (There's a nominal charge of £10 for us to collect your bike - just make sure you keep the box your bike arrived in.)

On which bikes is the 30-day test ride available?
The Rutland 30-day test ride is available on all full price, non-discounted bikes available for home delivery on It is not available on discounted or special offer bikes, click and collect bikes, bikes bought on finance, bikes bought through Cyclescheme, or bikes bought in store. This offer is only available on bikes delivered to mainland UK addresses.

How many times can I use the 30-day test ride?
We will allow up to two exchanges within this scheme.

Rutland Cycling is one of the UK's leading independent cycle retailers. We're much more than your average bike shop, and our people play a key role in making our company stand out from the crowd. We currently operate a number of stores in the heart of England: two at Rutland Water (Whitwell and Giant Rutland at Normanton), one at Grafham Water, one at Peterborough, five stores in Cambridge, one at Pitsford Water in Northamptonshire, and our new Specialized Concept Store in Nottingham. We also operate a thriving e-commerce business. Our head office, warehouse, and distribution centre are based in Manton, Rutland.

    Workshop Manager, Histon & Nottingham

    We are currently recruiting to this key role, where we offer customers a first class service. Integral to this is the workshop service that includes qualified mechanics, exceptional servicing, and a fast turnaround time.

    As to the qualities we are looking for from the successful candidate, you will already be working in the cycle industry and have a sound technical knowledge of bikes. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to lead by example a high level workshop service, including the sale of associated parts and accessories to a wide variety of cyclists. This will be combined with a flexible and proactive approach to resolving customer needs.

    Email & CRM Marketing Manager, Burrough Court

    Placing customers at the centre of what we do, this role will analyse data to develop a deeper understanding of our core customers and deliver high quality, optimised communications to drive engagement, lifetime value, and customer loyalty. Working with the wider Marketing team, as well as Commercial and Store teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing our customer database and personalizing experiences to build long term fans of the brand.

    Key responsibilities

  • Create, design and manage email newsletter calendar for distribution to our customer database in line with the marketing and trading calendars, to ensure contact is relevant, targeted and engaging.
  • Drive & manage customer database subscriptions to engage long term fans of the brand
  • Ensure email content, design and delivery are continuously optimised for customer engagement and activation
  • Optimise email marketing strategy to drive significant uplift in customer lifecycle value, retention and brand engagement
  • Create relevant customer segmentation groups, design and manage the contact strategy
  • Analyse and report on insights, defining actions to report back to the wider business
  • Support multi-channel customer engagement
  • Management and development of engagement across customer reviews and loyalty schemes
  • Ensure GDPR compliance for our consumer database via data capture, storage, enrichment, and segmentation.

  • Key skills & attributes

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar role in a commercial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of email marketing techniques and best practice, including A/B and MV testing
  • Experience with data management and list building / segmentation
  • Excellent written and communication skills with a creative eye to build engaging and informative campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and an ability to identify trends and insights from datasets
  • Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with colleagues from teams across the business
