This year, we have partnered with the Sue Ryder Hospice in Peterborough as our primary charity partner. Sue Ryder has recently launched a brand new care facility at their Thorpe Hall location which will allow them to provide yet higher quality end of life care for their patients - a first for the area and a blueprint for the future of palliative care.
Throughout the course of this year, we will be working with Sue Ryder on a number of projects including the Tour of Cambridgeshire closed road event, volunteering days, rider sponsorship and more. We hope that by working closely and exclusively with the Sue Ryder charity, we will be able to make a real difference for them and for their patients.
Charity Rides and Sponsorship
As part of our work with Sue Ryder, we will be working closely with them to support their events and charity riders. If you’re looking at doing a sponsored charity ride in aid of Sue Ryder then please get in touch and we will see if there is any way that we can help you.
If you are attending a Sue Ryder sponsored charity event then unfortunately further sponsorship will not be possible. This is not only due to the scale of these events, but also because we will aim to support these events in ways other than individual rider sponsorship.
If however you’re looking at taking on an independent challenge to raise money for the Sue Ryder charity, then we will always consider your request for sponsorship. We can’t guarantee support for everyone, however where we can we will try to offer support in the form of sale or return goods, social exposure and help and advice.
If you would like to enquire about ride sponsorship, please send the details of your request to email@example.com. We do get a lot of these requests, and so we are unfortunately unable to help everyone, however we will endeavour to reply to all queries, no matter what the outcome.
Although Sue Ryder is our primary charity partner this year, we have always been passionate about supporting our local community. For this reason, we will continue to work locally with schools, charities and communities to support their fund raising activities. Historically we have worked closely with Lincolnshire County Council and Transition Town Stamford to help improve road safety for schoolchildren in our community.
If you have a local community event and would like to enquire about sponsorship, then please send the relevant information over to firstname.lastname@example.org. We do get a lot of queries, and unfortunately we are not able to support everyone, however we will endeavour to reply to your query regardless of the outcome.
