30 Day Test Ride

All the convenience of buying online, without the risk
When you buy a new bike at full RRP from rutlandcycling.com, you can now benefit from the added reassurance of our Rutland 30-day test ride. Once your new bike arrives, you can ride it as your own for 30 days, and we're confident you'll love it! However, if it's not right for you, we'll exchange it for another model. (There's a nominal charge of £10 for us to collect your bike - just make sure you keep the box your bike arrived in.)

On which bikes is the 30-day test ride available?
The Rutland 30-day test ride is available on all full price, non-discounted bikes available for home delivery on rutlandcycling.com. It is not available on discounted or special offer bikes, click and collect bikes, bikes bought on finance, bikes bought through Cyclescheme, or bikes bought in store. This offer is only available on bikes delivered to mainland UK addresses.

How does the test ride work?
Your 30-day test ride starts from the date your bike is delivered. You must notify us by email within 30 calendar days of delivery that you intend to return the bike within this scheme. This offer applies to all bikes purchased on or after 14th August 2014. To ensure you remain eligible, we would ask that you adopt a 'fair usage' attitude during the test ride period, and make sure there is no damage to the bike outside of the minimal wear you would expect from a bike ridden for 30 days or a few rides. Please note that any damage to the bike, including damage from incorrect assembly, will invalidate the test ride.

How many times can I use the 30-day test ride?
We will allow up to two exchanges within this scheme.

2015 Cube Acid Review

The Cube Acid 27.5 mountain bike provides a professional edge to recreational mountain biking. It has been designed for destroying trails and singletrack, as well as being more than competent in any woods and over the country. Featuring a 6061 aluminium frame, Manitou forks and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, this bike will conquer any off road adventure.

The 100mm Manitou forks will absorb bumps and knock when navigating rough terrain, helping to keep your front end firmly planted on the trail at all times for maximum grip and performance. The Manitou M30 Air fork also features remote lock out so you can tailor the suspension quickly to cope with flat or steep terrain. The 6061 aluminium frame is lightweight, stiff and responsive. This frame will fly around the trails, it's easy to ride, quick to accelerate and grippy in tight corners. The Acid is finished off with a pair of powerful hydraulic Shimano disc brakes, which provide you with incredible stopping power and a smooth, tough Shimano XT rear mech for crisp, reliable gear changes.

Just an utterly amazing machine. This bike handles like a dream with incredibly quickly cornering and straight line speed. Cube have really gone to great lengths with the component choices and colours. I wouldnt consider any other bike at this price point, and Rutland Cycling built and packaged the bike to a brilliant level. Overall, fantastic! 10/10

2015 Cube Analog Review

If you're looking for an entry level mountain bike that delivers that extra level of performance then the Cube Analog 27.5 is the bike for you. All of the components and features are designed to help keep you riding faster, further, quicker and with greater ease. A lightweight aluminium frame combined with responsive Rockshox forks make this a fast and enjoyable ride.

The Rockshox fork on the Cube Analog provides a responsive suspension system that soaks up bumps and roots. The suspension returns to full travel quicker than bikes that cost a lot more, and this allows very bumpy tracks and trails to be absorbed with greater ease. The Poplock lockout system means that you can turn the suspension on and off from the handlebar with speed and ease.

This bike is packed with features and components which add up to provide a responsive, fast and enjoyable ride. Aluminium frame is lightweight and responsive on the trails. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are powerful and quick to respond in tight situations. A combination of shimano Altus and Acera components provide a smooth gear shift.

This bike is packed with features and components which add up to provide a responsive, fast and enjoyable ride. If you're looking for an entry level mountain bike that delivers that extra level of performance then the Cube Analog 27.5 is the bike for you.

2015 Cube Aim Disc Review

The Cube Aim Disc 27.5 mountain bike is perfect for riders who want to get a bit more out of their first mountain bike. With powerful disc brakes and reliable Shimano gears it really is a bike that you can depend on mile after mile and the 27.5" wheels balances responsiveness and performance - ideal bike for entering into the world of mountain biking.

The Aim Disc fits the German sterotype to a tee, everything about it is functional and efficient. What you get from this bike is everything that you need and expect of an MTB - and it performs exceptionally well for the money that you pay for it. What you don't get is a jazzy paint job, or ridiculously high spec pieces of componentry to make you jump for your wallet. There is nothing peculiar on this bike, the back end won’t suddenly step out and it will only ever skid in a straight line. It is a solid introduction to mountain biking and even if you move on to glitzier things, you’ll always want to keep this in your stable.
