Rutland Cycling and Giant Bicycles are very pleased to announce that on the 7th of May, women’s cycling legend and Olympic gold medallist, Marianne Vos will be appearing at the Rutland Cycling Giant Normanton Store.

Marianne Vos has been a force on two wheels since her first year as a competitive cyclist in 2002 when she won two national championships as a junior, like you do. Since then she has racked up, amongst other accolades, a staggering six UCI Cyclo-cross world champion jerseys (SIX!!), been the UCI world champion road cyclist twice, and two UCI track champion titles.

The London Olympics saw Vos take her second cycling gold medal when she beat Lizzie Armitstead in the Olympic Road Race.

Marianne will be racing in the Women’s Tour of Britain and will be appearing after Stage 1 which see’s the tour route leave the market town of Oundle and finish in Northampton. She will be appearing between 6 and 7pm for a Q&A session with attendees. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch true cycling royalty.
