We are proud (and a little excited!) to announce that Rutland Cycling are once again the official retail partner of the Tour of Cambridgeshire, taking place on the weekend of 4th and 5th June 2016. The Tour of Cambs is unlike any other mass participation event in the UK. Uniquely the event caters for everyone whether you are an elite racer, an athletic sports rider, a challenge rider, or just out to test yourself in a more leisurely way on your bike, on closed roads, around the stunning Cambridgeshire countryside. ToC comprises two mass participation cycling events on fully closed roads, each of which caters for the full spectrum of riders from elite athletes to leisure riders:
- 4th June 2015: 11:00 – 17:00, 26.55km UCWT ToC Chrono
- 5th June 2015: 132km ToC Gran Fondo
We are particularly pleased to be associated with a top-flight cycling competition that offers equal prize money to men and women: all riders will ride the same course and the overall winning male and female will receive a first prize of £1500 in each event.
All events will start and finish in the Peterborough Arena with fully closed roads and a world class start / finish area. This event is definitely one you won’t want to miss!

Fine first outing for the Tour of Cambridgeshire
Gran Fondo Rider
We left the North West at 04.00hrs this morning, it’s now 23.00hrs and we’ve just got back home. Where do I sign up for next year?
… It was still a brilliant and challenging first running of our newest 'tour'
What is a Gran Fondo?
