The Details
As the name suggests, the Specialized Turbo Como SL (Super Light) electric hybrid bike is super light and also perfectly balanced. Specialized have developed the best combination of power, range, usability and comfort with the bike weighing in at 40% less than the average e-bike.
Add to that, the fact that it can carry twice its weight in cargo, and you have a fun errand bike that is as exciting to ride as it is easy to own.
It is low maintenance and comes with Specialized's first Internal Gear Hub which protects the bike's working gears from the weather and road grime. This extends their life for up to four times that of a derailleur / chain drive and eliminates chain grease completely. You can also shift the gears at anytime, even when stopped at traffic lights.
The Turbo Como Super Light's sophisticated design means you are ready to go where ever you are. Day and night, rain and shine you will be well looked after with battery powered integrated lights, fenders, and plenty of storage capacity.
The 320wh battery is securely hidden in the downtube, making it look almost like a regular bike at first glance. There's also an optional Range Extender to take you further on days when you want to hit the cycle paths for a longer (up to 120 miles) adventure before recharging.
All finished with an integrated front basket and Super Light mounted pannier-compatible rear rack.
