The collaboration between Specialized’s highly experienced engineering team in Germany works with the ride dynamics team in California. They redefined the ride style, chassis and kinematics of the bike. They also created the perfect shock tune all balanced through the centre of the bike with the 1.2 motor system. This results in a ride plush enough that you remain cool, calm and collected while pushing the limits on your favourite trail.
Specialized’s rider first engineering process delivers the optimal balance of tuned stiffness, weight and ride quality in every size of the bike meaning no matter which size you ride the ride quality will always be perfect.
Specialised have worked on this E-Bike with reliability and performance in mind this delivers the best bike we have made to date with an electric motor. The head angle has a three-setting changeable chip to fine tune the handling of your bike so it can take on any type of terrain. Specialized have used the 29in front and the 27.5in rear to leave you more room when riding steep terrain and squashing jumps in fast sections.
This bike has 43% more torque and 33% more power than the last generation of the Levo SL this means you can ride up to 7 1/2 hours on one charge.
- All new carbon frame, comes in mixed wheel configuration (compatible to 29 rear with no extra parts needed.) New kinematic with flatter leverage curve which provides more support and playfulness off the top, but plenty of control in rougher conditions. The headtube angle and bottom bracket height are both adjustable.

The latest iteration of the SL dynasty rolls into the new season with a more powerful motor, more travel and, above all, with one clear intention: snatching the “ultimate trail bike” title away from its analogue counterpart. For 2023, the biggest change needs little introduction but the brand has done away with that unique side-arm design that added stiffness to the previous frame and this has been done for two reasons. First off, it allows space for reservoir shocks to fit inside that front triangle without fouling on the frame. Secondly, it’s been removed to shave weight. .
