Delivery

Please note, we are not currently offering home delivery online. All of our bikes and equipment are still available to order and collect in-store. Any bikes ordered online will be fully assembled by our experienced mechanics in your chosen store, ready for you to collect and ride away. If you have any questions, speak to your local Rutland Cycling store today.

Standard Delivery - Free on all bikes!*

  • Bikes are delivered 95% built, with only pedals to be fitted and handlebars to be adjusted.
  • Pre-delivery inspection on every bike, ensuring gears and brakes are set up, and tyres pumped up.
  • Sent via a 24 hour courier service.
  • Bikes are sent in a best in sector full-sized bike cargo box with wheel braces
  • All bikes are wrapped in 100% recyclable protective packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • * Delivery is free to most areas of the UK but some off-shore locations and areas of Scotland and the Highlands may be excluded from delivery.

How will my order arrive?

Your new bike will be delivered to you fully built and with only some minor adjustments needed.

We've designed our bike box so that your brand new bike arrives as complete as possible, while remaining protected throughout the delivery process. This means your bike will be delivered 95% built, with only the handlebars and seatpost to be adjusted, and the pedals to be fitted.

You will receive instructions on how to adjust your bike, or you can take a look at the following video for a step-by-step guide on how to set up your new bike. If you're not sure about fitting these items we recommend getting your bike booked in with a mechanic.

Bikes will be shipped separately from any other items you've ordered, so don't worry if you receive the bike ahead of other items - they will follow within a day or so, on a different shipping service. You will receive separate tracking information for these.

*Please note: We cannot attach additional items purchased to bikes. We recommend waiting to receive your despatch confirmation before making plans to receive goods. We will always endeavour to inform you of any delays or issues as soon as possible, and normally by email. All bikes are shipped ready to ride, unless stated otherwise.

Delivery FAQs

Bicycles will be shipped free of charge as standard. Delivery is free to most areas of the UK but some off-shore locations and areas of Scotland and the Highlands may be excluded from delivery. If you are unable to accept delivery of your bicycle on the day specified then please let us know as soon as possible so that we can arrange delivery for a different day, or request for the item to be left in a safe place.

Please note: you will be provided with an estimated delivery date at checkout, however this is only an estimate and you will receive a confirmation email the afternoon that the bicycle is shipped.

PLEASE NOTE: we are currently unable to ship equipment for home delivery (unless specified online), however all of our equipment is available for free click & collect at one of our stores.
Shipping is free over £50, or £3.99 for orders under £50

Firstly, please check to see if you have received an email from us, telling you your order has been sent. If you haven't received any emails confirming your order, or in the unlikely event that you've not using the form on our contact page. Make sure you include your order reference number (you'll find this in your order confirmation email).

If your items are damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as you have received them. If the packaging is visibly damaged then please do not sign for the goods. We can't be held responsible for damaged caused by the courier after a package has been signed for. If you do not have the opportunity to inspect the delivery. You must inform us via email of any such problems within 7 working days.

Please note: if you have instructed the courier to leave your package on your doorstep or in another insecure place, we cannot claim for missing items or damage to your package. We therefore strongly recommend that you ask the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbour, or collect it from a local delivery depot.

Restricted delivery: Please be aware that some brands are restricted from shipping outside of the EU. These include but are not limited to Ortlieb, Shimano, PRO, Lazer, PEARL iZUMi.
