Our dedicated electric bike shop is located within our Rutland Water store at Whitwell, just off the A606 near Oakham. We are open 7 days a week, with plenty of parking available. You don’t need to make an appointment; just drop in and see us anytime, we’re right next to the RockBlok Climbing Centre, and near the popular Harbour Café at Whitwell Creek, so why not enjoy a spot of lunch or a coffee whilst you’re here? We pride ourselves on our in-store, friendly team of trained, experienced e-bike specialists and we offer a wide range of services, including sales, hire and demo, part exchange, servicing and repairs, battery testing, replacement batteries, diagnosis and inspection, custom build, wheel building and tyre fitting.

For your convenience, we offer a free home delivery service when you order an e-bike online, or you can choose to click & collect your e-bike in store.

When visiting Whitwell by car there is a Lakeside car park that is charged at a small fee. This is a local authority car park but the fee does help keep the area clean, safe and tidy for all visitors.

Test ride an E-bike at Rutland Water

If you’d like to try before you buy, we offer a test ride service right out of our Whitwell shop. When you arrive at the store, our e-bike specialists will talk you through how electric bikes work and show you some different styles and models of e-bikes.

You can take one or more for a spin around beautiful Rutland Water, enjoying up to 17 miles of dedicated traffic-free trails, so you can experience the wonder of electric bikes and compare different models until you find one that’s just right for you.

E-Bike Repairs & Servicing

Our experienced technicians, all Bosch E-Bike Certified, can service your electric bike at our Whitwell store (or at any of our stores). Fully equipped with the latest tooling and diagnostic equipment, our workshop is open 7 days a week, whether it’s a small repair, full service or custom build. What’s more, when you bring your bike to a Rutland store for a repair or service, if we can't carry out the work while you wait, we'll offer you a free courtesy bike until the work's done (subject to availability).

Get a tax-free electric bike

Employees can now benefit from UK government funding, and save up to 42% on the cost of an electric bike.
