With a Shimano HG500-10, you can lock in performance with durable construction and robust adjustability thanks to the Shimano HYPERGLIBE system. Thanks to the versatile gear range you can support a broad range of riding styles. The HYPERGLIBE system works by creating better contact with gear teeth, to create smooth shifting even under a high load. This improves pedalling efficiency by 0.6%.
Note: This is only possible as the chain has a forward side and a reverse side, the sides are marked so that the chain will face the correct way when installed.
