SRAM chain engineers have developed the PowerLock as a tool-free, easy and consistent way to connect chains. It should only be used once, however. SRAM Eagle technology represents the newest 1x drivetrain technology. It is lighter, simpler, more durable and easier to use. It has entirely new 1x components that are engineered for amazing durability and performance, whilst maintaining a significant weight advantage over other solutions.
Chains that have ultra-smooth inner-plates engage the cassette and front chainrings with far less friction resulting in far quieter performance and better wear life. The Flowlink design allows a narrower profile that can withstand greater angles and allow a flatter outer plate. The result? A chain that is more consistent and stronger!
