The Details
The Shimano Saint range is designed for hardcore riding; designed to be tough and durable for rigorous trail/downhill adventures. The Saint PD-M821 clipless mountain bike pedal has improved axle durability compared to the previous PD-M820. The Saint PD-M821 pedal also features a thinner but wider design to give the rider a more stable pedalling support, and improving clearance from obstacles below. The SPD clipless system allows the rider to clip in securely, while the wide contact area and supporting pins provide not only a more stable riding platform, but also give the rider a solid platform to aim for even if they don't clip in first time. This outer platform also protects the clipless pedal from impacts.
