JOB SUMMARY 

Leading from the front in this pivotal role, you will be delivering excellent customer experience in your store. Whilst sales of bikes and other cycling related products will be important, equally will the speedy turnaround of maintenance and repair work in a fully equipped workshop.

Being a critical member of the Retail Team, the Store Leader demonstrates commercial understanding, the value of building and developing a team around them and how to act accordingly in the best interests of the brand in order to exceed targets and fulfil rider needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- what you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Ensuring safety and security of the team followed by the location and stock
  • Delivering above target KPI performance metrics
  • Stock and inventory management with reporting
  • Analysis and subsequent action planning to deliver performance improvement
  • HR functionality; work with HR partner to manage processes e.g. disciplinary
  • Recruitment and development of team including appraisals, probationary reviews, target setting and review
  • Building strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the broader business
  • Represent the brand in an industry-leading way, we are one team
  • Banking and reporting to finance team

  • Strong market knowledge within the cycle and leisure industry
