30-Day E-Bike Satisfaction Guarantee

When you buy a new electric bike from Rutland Cycling, in store and online, you can benefit from the added reassurance of our Rutland 30-Day E-Bike Satisfaction Guarantee. You can ride your new e-bike as your own for 30 days, and if it's not right for you, we'll exchange it for another model. (There's a nominal charge of £20 for us to collect your bike, if you've ordered online — just make sure you keep the box your bike arrived in.)

On which bikes is the guarantee available?

The Rutland 30-Day E-Bike Satisfaction Guarantee applies to all new electric bikes, bought in store and online. Ex-hire, ex-demo and return bikes are excluded from the guarantee. E-bikes bought on finance or via a Cycle to Work scheme are also excluded. If you are buying online, this guarantee is only available on bikes delivered to mainland UK addresses.

How does the guarantee work?

Your 30-day guarantee period starts from the date your new e-bike is collected or delivered. You must notify us by email within 30 calendar days of this date that you intend to return the bike within this scheme. To ensure you remain eligible, we ask that you adopt a 'fair usage' attitude during the guarantee period, and make sure there is no damage to the bike outside of the minimal wear you would expect from a bike ridden for 30 days or a few rides. Please note that any damage to the bike, including damage from incorrect assembly, will invalidate the test ride.

How many times can I use the 30-day E-Bike Satisfaction Guarantee?

We allow one exchange within this scheme, to a different model of e-bike.

Free Delivery over £10

All of our bicycles are fully built by our experienced and certified mechanics prior to delivery; all you will need to do is turn the handlebars and fit some pedals.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £10, with delivery starting from £1.99 for orders below this value. We also have a selection of premium shipping options available including timed slots, morning deliveries Saturday delivery services and DPD Pick-up. There are additional postage charges that are applicable for international orders and some off shore or remote areas of the UK. All bicycles are shipped separately to other items. Please see our delivery page for full details.

Fully built bikes

All of our bikes are fully built and carefully inspected by Cytech-qualified mechanics before being lovingly packaged and shipped out. All you will need to do when the bike arrives is turn the handlebars and attach some pedals. Please note that for international deliveries bikes will need to be dismantled further before shipping to allow them to be packed down into a smaller shipping box.

1 Hour Delivery Slot

For your convenience, we offer a 1 hour delivery slot option; meaning that you don't have to wait in all day for delivery. You will need to select this service in the shipping option stage of the checkout process. This service is not available for bicycles.

0% Finance

We offer flexible finance options on all orders over £250, now with no minimum deposit! We offer 15.9% interest bearing as standard, with terms up to 48 months and we also offer flexible interest free options on selected items. Interest free finance terms start from 6 or 12 months and go up to 24 months (orders over £999.99) and 36 months (orders over £1999.99). If you're unsure on the available options, all products over £250 on our website have a unique finance calculator where you can see exactly which finance options are available on that product, allowing you to clearly see the available options and associated payment terms.

Free 21-day Bike Insurance with Bikmo

Getting a new bike is an exciting time. You'll likely find yourself filled with a child-like sense of excitement and anticipation to get your shiny new steed home. We know how much a new bike means, it's more than just a means to an end, a new bike is something we love and take pride in, an item that gives us pleasure as well as serving a purpose. Bicycles are shipped from a different warehouse to other items and so may arrive in advance of any other items you have ordered.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your shopping experience at Rutland Cycling, so we offer a 90-day exchange or refund on any unused item (within the UK).

We've chosen to offer products at the very lowest prices, rather than provide a free returns service. If you do need to return an item, we provide printable postage labels and collection services at a small cost for all items - including bicycles.

The Rutland 30-day test ride is available on all full price, non-discounted bikes available for home delivery on rutlandcycling.com. It is not available on discounted or special offer bikes, click and collect bikes, bikes bought on finance, bikes bought through Cyclescheme, or bikes bought in store. This offer is only available on bikes delivered to mainland UK addresses.

How many times can I use the 30-day test ride?
We will allow up to two exchanges within this scheme.
