The Details
This Shimano chain has many great features to provide you with smooth, silent shifting and a fast efficient chain. The outer plate has been developed in such a way as to reduce the chance of chain suck. The outer links are also zinc-alloy plated, both inner and outer links have Sil-Tec surface treatment technology (PTFE plating) to ensure the chain is smooth running and increase durability.
The inner plate has been developed to give better contact with the gears which leads to smoother shifting under high load. This leads to more efficient pedalling, increased rigidity and almost silent running. The chain is 5.62mm wide which is optimised for 11-speed super narrow HG-EV drivetrains.
