How do I choose the right size?
1. Measure your body with a tape measure
Top tips: Ask a friend to help - it tends to improve accuracy. Keep the tape measure snug but not tight.
Chest
Measure around the widest part of your chest/bust, holding the tape measure under your armpits.
Waist and hips
Men - measure around your waist, just above your hip bones (where your trousers naturally sit). Women - measure the smallest part of your waist / widest part of your hips.
Inseam / inside leg
With your shoes off, stand upright with your back against a wall. Place a book/ruler between your legs, level with your crotch. Then measure from the top of the book/ruler to your ankle bone for your inseam measurement, or to the floor for your inside leg length.
Gloves
Measure your dominant hand. Wrap the tape measure around your hand (but not your thumb), crossing the palm and passing below the knuckles. NB. Some brands measure your palm width, rather than palm circumference. If so, simply divide your measurement by two.
Helmet
Measure around the centre of your forehead just above your ears, crossing the bumpy bone at the back of your head (occipital bone).
Foot length
With your shoes and socks off, put your heel against a wall. Measure the distance from the wall to the furthest point of your foot.
